THE DARKEST NIGHT
'it's always darkest before the dawn.'
I've always liked the saying, ‘It has to be dark to see the stars,’ and how beauty can be found even in the shadows. But it was the old saying, ‘It’s always darkest before the dawn,’ that inspired this ongoing collection.
The Darkest Night explores the journey through those hours, using the spirit of the horse to discover that in the darkness new life begins, and from this dark night of the soul, something beautiful can be created.

'EDGE OF NIGHT.'

EDGE OF NIGHT
Edge of Night symbolises triumph, strength, and glory, and celebrates making it through those darkest nights to see the light on the other side.

It represents standing on the edge of the precipice, knowing that even though the winds were strong, and the night was cold, you didn’t succumb to pain and despair. Instead, you faced down your demons, and in doing so, unleashed your inner warrior and revealed your true self.

THE DARKEST NIGHT COLLECTION
The Darkest Night is an illustrated collection that began as a way to explore what it means to experience the darkest moments before the dawn - and the darkest night of the soul - before seeing the light on the other side, using the spirit of the horse as my muse.
Do you have your own darkest night of the soul stories?
